EFF's Associate Director of EU Policy, Svea Windwehr, will speak at the "Thousands Platforms" conference in Berlin. The conference, hosted by FernUniversität Hagen, explores research topics and issues in the area of platform regulation in the wake of the Digital Services Act (DSA). Svea Windwehr will take part in a session dedicated to the risk governance framework of the Digital Services Act, where she will give a short presentation on the framework and the challenges it poses for the enforcement of user rights, before joining a panel discussion alongside Jun.-Prof. Dr. Hannah Ruschemeier, Prof. Dr. Rainer Mühlhoff, and Niklas Eder, moderated by Julian Jaursch.
